Jaeger Disc Diffusers
Disc diffusers vary in three key ways - membrane material, diameter and connection size.
These diffusers are suitible for koi pond and sewage treatment applicaitons.

Membrane Material most suitable for sewage treatment and pond aeration applications is EPDM - it is used for all standard variants of Jaeger diffusers. A silicone version is available on request.

Diameter is directly related to air output as the more surface area there is, the more holes there can be for air to pass through.
The Jaeger HD disc diffuser is available in two diameters - each has an ideal flow range.
270mm - 1 .5 to 6 m^3/h
340mm - 2 to 10 m^3/h
The sweet spot between performance and lifespan for each diffuser is around the middle of these ranges.

Connection size of both the HD270 and HD340 is a 3/4" tapered threaded connection.
Jaeger JetFlex® TD 65-2 G Tube Diffuser
Tube diffusers vary in three key ways - membrane material, length and input connection size.
The end opposite the threaded connection opens to a large cavity that some people use to anchor the diffuser. This approach is helpful with pond and lake installations, or anywhere non-ridged pipe may be preferable.
These difusers are suitable for koi pond and sewage treatment applications.

500mm - 1 to 6 m^3/h
750mm - 1.5 to 9 m^3/h
1000mm - 2 to 12 m^3/h

Connection size of the JetFlex® TD 65-2 G is 3/4" as standard - a 1" version is available on request.
Most people connect these tube diffusers using a standard 3/4" BSP hose tail.
