Expected Output: JDK-500C

Use this chart to estimate the output (flow) expected from the JDK-S-500C (AKA JDK-500C) for a given backpressure.
For example, if you know the aeration depth of your system is 2m and there are no other factors causing resistance, the backpressure of the system would be around 200 mbar. On the graph, trace up from 200 mbar to the JDK-500 line, then over to the scale on the right. At a backpressure of 200 mbar, the JDK-500C would produce an estimated flow rate of 500l/min.

  • Use Less Energy

The JDK models feature less energy consumption (up to 30% depending on the application) and fewer overall dimensions (also by about 30%) compared to the SLL and EL series. This makes the class not only more compact but also lighter.

  • Long Life Expectancy

Motor and pump parts are combined in one single construction. The compact and light construction form and the simple mechanism guarantee a long and reliable period of operation.

  • Energy Efficient

The principle of electromagnetic oscillation, which practically has no mechanical friction, minimises power consumption and provides a high degree of efficiency.

Pump Details

The JDK-S-500C (JDK-500C) outputs around 500l/min at a back pressure of 200 mbar. At this backpressure, it would consume only 450W per hour, which is very low, making less of an impact on the environment and costing less to run.
The JDK-500C operates at only 58 dB(A), which is very quiet – for reference, a quite office is about 50-60 dB. The JDK-500C will not produce significant noise pollution, keeping the local wildlife and your neighbours happy.

  • Low Noise Level

The soundproof casing and the muffler integrated into the tank base reduce operating noise.

  • Low Vibration

Motor and pump parts are separated by a vibration-isolating rubber, so only low vibration consists.

  • Completely oil-free

The oil-free operation guarantees a dry and unadulterated airflow.

Spares Guide

All the spares you will ever need for your JDK-500C are typically immediately available and will be for a long time to come. For reference, the spare parts for the JDK-500C's predecessor (EL-500C) are still widely available even though it has been many years since the EL range became discontinued.

  • Weatherproof

The SLL, EL, and JDK series are rainproof and weatherproof. However, they should not be exposed to direct sunlight, rain, or snow.

  • Pulsation-free airflow

Specially formed pump chambers and the muffler integrated into the tank base provide an airflow, which is practically pulsation-free.

  • Universal service kits

For each model series, service kits are available. They are vacuum-packed in aluminium foil for better and longer life/ storage.
