Expected Output: Medo LA-60E

Use this chart to estimate the output (flow) from the Medo LA-60E for a given backpressure.
For example, if you know the aeration depth of your system is 1.5 m and there are no other factors causing resistance, the backpressure of the system would be around 150 mbar.
On the graph, trace up from 150 mbar to the LA-60E line (red), then over to the scale on the left. At a backpressure of 150 mbar, the LA-60E would produce an estimated flow rate of 60 l/min.

Pump Details

The Medo LA-60E outputs around 60 l/min at a back pressure of 150 mbar. At this backpressure, it would consume only 48 W per hour, which is very low, making less of an impact on the environment and costing less to run.
The LA-60E operates at only 45 dB(A), which is very quiet – for reference, a refrigerator is about 40 dB.
The LA-60E will not produce significant noise pollution, keeping the local wildlife and your neighbours happy.
